Sara Maroske is a historian, author and editor.
My work lies at the intersection of life-writing, the history of science and social history. I’m interested in how individuals, especially women, gain access to knowledge.
History has given me a varied career, with experience in publication, presentations, theatre, radio and exhibitions.
I am an independent scholar living in Melbourne, an Honorary Associate of the Royal Botanic Gardens Victoria, an editor of the Ferdinand von Mueller Correspondence Project (https://vmcp.rbg.vic.gov.au), and contributes entries on women to the Encyclopaedia of Australian Science and Innovation (https://www.eoas.info).
